About the Position

As the Student and Academic Services Officer, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-quality student and academic support across the Faculty.

This position is a mix of service, systems and strategy—joining a large, proactive team focused on continuous improvement and exceptional service delivery, you’ll work closely with the Manager and Coordinator of Student and Academic Services, contributing to both day-to-day functions and broader Faculty initiatives.

A varied role, your focus will include managing student queries, supporting core functions such as enrolment, assessments, course completions, results processing, and will collaborate with staff to maintain smooth operations across key University systems including Moodle.

About You

You're a highly organised and service-oriented professional with strong administrative expertise and a keen eye for process improvement. Your communication skills allow you to navigate complex queries with clarity and empathy, while your initiative and judgment help you solve problems with confidence.

You will bring to the fore your:

  • Demonstrated experience in student or academic services
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A strong customer service ethic, supported by systems literacy and collaborative team spirit, and
  • Confidence in working independently and across cross-functional project teams
