The Opportunity

Monash Learning and Teaching have an exciting opportunity for an Educational Designer.

This fixed term position works as part of a team within the Inclusive Teaching Practices Project, enabling the University’s strategic initiatives to ensure students experience well-designed, highly interactive and inclusive learning across units, courses and programs. The development phase of this project has an expected conclusion date of December 2025

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of professional learning initiatives that build staff capability in unit design and delivery, supporting a range of University and Portfolio priorities. Further, you will provide effective educational guidance and support using inclusive learning design frameworks when developing professional learning resources development of professional learning resources and programs that enable academic and professional staff to design, deliver and evaluate their units or other education programs.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a relevant degree with extensive experience and expertise in educational/instructional design and educational technologies; or extensive experience and management expertise in education design; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
