The Opportunity

Step into the centre of transformational leadership at Australia’s largest and most ambitious health faculty. As Executive Officer to the Dean, you'll support strategic projects, smooth operations, and vital connections—including our relationships with hospital and health partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide executive support to the Dean and senior leaders
  • Coordinate key forums, meetings, and governance activities—prep, plan, and coordinate actions
  • Lead and guide a small, service-oriented team with a strong customer focus
  • Act as a liaison between the Office of the Dean and hospital partners, ensuring collaborative engagement and timely responses
  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion performance improvement initiatives and operational best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident relationship-builder with experience working across complex stakeholder environments—especially in health or university contexts
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, with a knack for drafting high-level correspondence and documents
  • Skilled project coordination and administrative expertise, with sharp planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience liaising with senior executives and navigating governance frameworks
  • A proactive team leader who knows how to set priorities, delegate effectively, and maintain momentum
