The Opportunity

The School of Psychological Sciences is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Resource & Operations Officer to drive the success of its diverse research, education and training initiatives. With access to world-class facilities, including the Turner Clinics, Genomics Platform and BrainPark, this role is pivotal in supporting the efficient operation of platforms that support the School’s strategic goals, and the day-to-day activities that contribute to the elevation of the education, research and training. 

In this role, you will oversee a range of technical and administrative responsibilities, including coordinating staff engagements, scheduling and providing services for maintenance requests, updating website content and delivering exceptional services to internal and external stakeholders. By implementing efficient systems, supporting compliance with OHS standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, you will play a critical role in advancing research and operational activities. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster professional relationships will be essential in ensuring seamless resource delivery and the successful execution of projects and events.

We are seeking someone with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with a proven ability to deliver effective operational processes and systems. Exceptional organisational skills, a strong commitment to customer service excellence and experience with social media and professional communications are essential.
