The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for the position of eResources Management Librarian within Collection Acquisition and Activation. In this role you will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless access to the library’s electronic resources, analysing performance data to support informed decision making, while empowering academic excellence through Library service.
In this position, you will:
- Investigate and resolve a high volume of time sensitive electronic resource access issues
- Triage and respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Process electronic subscription renewals, manage activation and access for newly acquired electronic resources
- Monitor electronic resource performance by leveraging data driven insights
- Collaborate with Content and Collections team and Collections and Technology Portfolio colleagues on strategic projects and system enhancements
- Stay informed of electronic resource management trends and contribute to innovative ways of working.
You will thrive in a collaborative environment, work closely with others in the Content and Collections team to deliver collection priorities, and help to reshape the future of library services.

- A qualification in librarianship, information management, or equivalent experience
- Proven technical skills including the use of Library management and discovery systems
