About the role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President, the Executive Director, Financial Resources Management plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic insight and wide-ranging leadership across the Finance portfolio and the University, leading the financial planning and analysis function to enable execution of the University strategy, providing critical thinking, advice and information to identify and shape major finance and financial performance strategies, key decisions, and to deliver high-value benefits to Monash.
In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management framework for the University and all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including leading-edge practices in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
The position promotes and further develops a high-performance and “one finance” service delivery culture across the functions of the portfolio, and takes a leadership role in promoting this culture across the University-wide finance function.
