The Opportunity

Join Monash Learning and Teaching as a Senior Adviser, Learning and Teaching commencing at the start of 2026.

The Senior Adviser, Learning and Teaching contributes to the strategic learning goals of the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Education Portfolio which seek to transform teaching and learning across Monash University. They provide advice on approaches to strengthen and advance teaching and learning across Faculties and within the wider University. 

As the successful candidate, you will lead the design, development and implementation of learning and teaching projects (online and blended) across units, courses and professional development programs, from conception to final delivery and post-implementation review and reporting. This includes scoping stakeholder needs, proactively identifying risks to project deliverables and implementing risk mitigation strategies

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational design background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
