The Opportunity
The Academic Programs and Governance team has an exciting opportunity for a Course Governance and Pathways Adviser.
The Course Governance and Pathways Adviser provides a range of specialist advisory and administrative services related to effective delivery of course governance and pathways to education at Monash. This includes providing expert and informed advice and reports to support business decision-making and managing and coordinating the development, governance, accreditation and review of curriculum and courses in relation to Monash coursework courses.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and reports for senior management drawing on up-to-date knowledge and experience of relevant policy, legislation and best practice principles in the area of specialisation or technical expertise. Further, provide leadership and guidance to stakeholders and colleagues including overseeing compliance with University policy and procedure and encouraging a broader focus on governance and pathways to education.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
