The Opportunity
Join a School leading the way in health innovation and help shape how its story is shared across Australia and beyond. As Communications Adviser, you will play a central role in amplifying the impact of world-class research, education and clinical excellence by creating communications that inform, inspire and influence. This creative position offers the opportunity to directly enhance the School’s reputation and strengthen its voice with both internal and external audiences.
This role will plan, write and deliver compelling content across all key channels, including school newsletters, website, email campaigns, social media (including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram), and internal communication platforms. You will actively source stories and opportunities from across the School’s centres and departments, translating achievements into engaging narratives that enhance reputation and deepen stakeholder engagement. You will also manage the School’s digital presence, ensuring timely, strategic and audience-focused messaging, consistent brand application and strong performance across platforms.
We are seeking someone with a relevant qualification in communications, journalism, media or marketing, along with proven experience delivering strategic communications in a complex environment. Strong relationship-building skills, content creation expertise and a deep understanding of contemporary digital and social media practices will be key to success in this role.
