The Opportunity

Reporting to the Analytics and Innovation Manager within Monash HR, the Senior Analyst, Projects will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic analytical services that inform decision-making across the University. This position sits within the Workforce Analytics and Innovation team, a dynamic unit driving data-informed workforce strategy, compliance, and transformation initiatives.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead complex data analysis, transformation and visualisation projects to support strategic initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and evidence-based insights to senior stakeholders and committees
  • Develop and implement analytical frameworks, methodologies and reporting processes
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of analysts to deliver high-quality outcomes

If you have postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in business analysis, research design, and statistical modelling, and a passion for translating complex data into actionable insights, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape workforce strategy at scale. Your proficiency in data modelling, Power BI, and HR systems, combined with your ability to engage stakeholders, conceptualise solutions, and lead strategic projects, will be highly valued.
