The Opportunity
We are currently inviting applications for a HEW 7 Team Leader opportunity in Access HR, within the People Operations portfolio.
The HR Advisory Team Leader directs a team of HR Advisory Officers to provide effective delivery of timely HR advice and support to the University. Supervising the delivery of HR enquiry services, the role involves day to day coaching, training and guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning within Access HR and an exceptional customer experience.
The HR Advisory Team Leader also provides support to projects and undertakes a variety of complex administrative duties to meet the operational demands of the People Operations Division.
To achieve success in this role, you will be a self-motivated and committed team player with proven ability to maintain integrity, discretion and confidentiality. We are looking for an experienced HR professional who has strong advisory skills and a detailed understanding of HR policies, processes and University Enterprise Agreements, as well as extensive experience in using the full suite of HR systems and applications (e.g. SAP, REX). This role is ideal for a person who is passionate about interacting with people and has strong coaching and mentoring skills.
