Remuneration: $120,138 - $132,610 pa HEW 8 (plus 17% super)

The Opportunity

This role places you at the centre of a major national effort to improve supportive care for people living with blood cancers. The NHMRC BloodCare CRE brings together world leading researchers, clinicians and interdisciplinary experts to deliver high quality, collaborative research across four transformative pillars
• optimising the use of blood products
• preventing infections
• enhancing nutrition and protecting the microbiome
• improving symptom control and psychological wellbeing

As the Project Manager, you will support the end to end delivery of this ambitious research program which will influence clinical practice, drive innovation and benefit patients across Australia and internationally. You will help bring together leading investigators, coordinate multi site activity, support research governance, prepare key documentation, and ensure the CRE operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You Will Do

• Manage and coordinate day to day CRE operations, resources, timelines and deliverables
• Build strong relationships with researchers, clinicians, collaborators and national networks
• Support ethics submissions, regulatory documentation and investigator meetings
• Contribute to strategic planning and delivery of program objectives
• Prepare high quality materials for research papers, presentations, committees, funders and community groups
• Provide expertise in governance, compliance, reporting and process improvement
• Maintain oversight of confidential and sensitive research information
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

You will bring postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in project management within a research, health or complex organisational setting. You are someone who enjoys coordinating multifaceted programs, building relationships and finding practical solutions. You communicate with confidence, thrive in collaborative environments and take pride in enabling research that leads to meaningful impact.
