The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Officer for a 5-month secondment to support the Campus Presentation portfolio within Buildings and Property. This role is central to the effective delivery of campus services across the University, including cleaning, waste management, urban space maintenance and relocations.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors, you will provide high-quality operational and administrative support, oversee service contracts, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of Campus Presentation service contracts, ensuring compliance with University policies, legislative requirements and quality standards.

Plan and coordinate operational and administrative activities, including scheduling, reporting, project support and resource allocation. Ok

Monitor contractor performance, budgets, and service delivery outcomes, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Deliver high-quality customer service through timely issue resolution and effective stakeholder engagement.

Contribute to data analysis, reporting, governance, compliance and continuous improvement activities.

Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors while complying with OHS requirements.
About You
You are an organised and proactive professional with experience in operations, facilities or service contract management. You bring strong judgment, attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence.
You will demonstrate:

Experience managing performance-based service contracts and resolving operational service delivery issues.

Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.

High-level administrative skills and strong attention to detail.

A sound understanding of compliance requirements, including OHS principles and safe work practices.

High-level computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
