The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a resourceful and efficient HR Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Senior HR Adviser, this position sits within the Academic Performance arm of the Workplace Relations team. 

As the HR Officer, you will be responsible for delivering operational support services to clients, the wider Monash HR division and colleagues within the Workplace Relations team in relation to academic promotion, probation and outside study program matters. This includes delivering high-quality and timely HR advice and support services, coordinating and managing committee processes, and maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Hold excellent administrative skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver effective operational processes and systems
  • Be highly organised with a strong attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage time and meet deadlines 
  • Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to customer service, with highly developed written and verbal communication
