The Opportunity

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering is seeking an outstanding Operations Risk and Safety Coordinator to lead and champion Occupational Health and Safety and Wellbeing (OHSW) across the Department.

In this influential role, you’ll provide high-level OHSW advice and support, ensure statutory compliance, and drive the implementation of the Departmental OHSW Management Plan. Working hands-on with academic and professional staff, committees and laboratory areas, you’ll embed best-practice risk management, develop meaningful plans and KPIs, and help foster a proactive, safety-first culture that supports teaching, research and operations.
