The Opportunity
The Strategic Projects Team has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior Project Manager.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of Academic Progress projects with significant impact in the Education Portfolio and broader University. The position works closely with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, across multiple faculties and divisions to deliver projects in accordance with agreed timeframes, within budget and to achieve strategic business outcomes.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for undertaking research, devising solutions and providing high level, practical and impartial advice to senior management on complex, multi-faceted project issues. Further, you will oversee and manage the preparation of business cases, position papers, briefings and reports for senior management and project stakeholders, including presentation of information where required.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications and extensive, relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
