The Opportunity

Join us as the Senior Project Manager–Collection Management and lead transformative work to elevate the impact, accessibility and care of our special and general collections.

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead a review of the Library’s collection management processes, enhancing how our rare and unique materials are arranged, described, preserved and accessed. From reading room services to object-based learning and exhibitions, your work will strengthen the Library’s contribution to education, research and community engagement.

You will also oversee the ongoing, business-as-usual operations that keep our collections thriving, physical and electronic, special and general. Your leadership will ensure our practices reflect best-practice academic librarianship, support strategic priorities, and deliver exceptional experiences for our users.

Working with autonomy and influence, you will collaborate across faculties and divisions, provide expert advice to senior management, and lead a team of dedicated collection professionals. Your ability to manage complex projects, analyse data, co-design services and drive meaningful change will directly shape the Library’s future.

This is a rare opportunity to apply your specialist knowledge of collections, your expertise in project management, and your passion for innovative library services in a role that truly makes an impact.
