The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced strategic planning leader to take on the role of Director, Institutional Planning within the Enterprise Intelligence and Insights team. Enterprise Intelligence and Insights plays a central role in supporting the University’s strategic agenda through performance monitoring, identifying and mapping emerging opportunities, leading rankings reporting, delivering the University’s annual student load plan, managing key institutional data sources, and delivering and maintaining the University’s Institutional Planning Framework. As a senior member of the leadership team, the Director will lead and develop a high-performing Institutional Planning Team that provides authoritative advice to support strategic decision-making across central portfolios, faculties, entities and offshore campuses.

The Director will steward the implementation and continual monitoring of the Institutional Planning Framework to ensure alignment with Impact 2030 and cohesion across institutional planning activities. The Director will also partner closely with senior leaders across the Monash Group, providing expert advice on planning processes, horizon scanning and the monitoring and evaluation of strategic initiatives. As the lead strategic analyst for the Research and Enterprise Portfolio, the Director will also play a key role in ensuring timely access to insights and intelligence that support the University’s research and enterprise ambitions.
