The Opportunity

Join the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment and play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of the School. As the Administrative Officer, you’ll provide high‑quality administrative support in this varied and collaborative role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate staff and visitor‑related processes and assist with tasks across the appointment lifecycle

  • Support the Education Chair and Unit Coordinators with the administration of casual and sessional staff contracts and timesheets

  • Coordinate general office resources, support staff and funds, ensuring the effective operation of the School’s administrative functions

  • Provide administrative support for committees, working groups, projects and events

  • Work closely with the General Office to maintain seamless daily operations

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you’ll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting staff and students.
