The Opportunity

The Assessment Quality Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality digital assessments. This position coordinates centralised submission and review processes, undertakes critical quality assurance and validation activities, and supports academic and professional staff in preparing assessment content on the University’s eAssessment platform. The role is integral to maintaining assessment integrity while contributing to efficient, error-free operations across the assessment lifecycle.

This position will be responsible for delivering expert quality assurance, review, and finalisation of digital assessments, ensuring all content meets the University’s rigorous standards. You will maintain strong communication with stakeholders, provide specialist advice, and deliver exceptional customer service aligned with best practice. The role includes compiling and analysing performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements, managing data securely, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will also foster effective working relationships, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with privacy and operational requirements, while contributing to the overall efficiency and excellence of assessment services.

To be successful in this role you will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. You bring strong administrative and organisational capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. With a solutions-focused mindset, you demonstrate analytical and problem-solving strengths, a commitment to outstanding customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Learning Management Systems in a higher education context will be highly regarded.
