The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Research Officer to support the Parenting and Youth Mental Health Research Group and contribute to the delivery of the Partners in Parenting program. The role supports a range of research activities, including trial coordination, participant recruitment, data collection and monitoring, database management, web testing, scheduling, and research administration. Working within established protocols and timeframes, the position contributes to the delivery of high-quality research outcomes in a collaborative environment.

The position also supports data analysis, literature reviews, reporting, and communication with research participants and project partners. The Research Officer plays an important role in maintaining efficient research processes and supporting the day-to-day operations of the research program while contributing to a positive and team-oriented environment.

We are seeking someone with a degree in Psychology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training in psychological or mental health research. Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, participatory research approaches and research involving parents, children or adolescents will also be highly regarded, along with experience supporting web-based systems or online interventions.
