The Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a dedicated Senior Candidature Officer to join our dynamic Graduate Research team. This isn't just an administrative role; it’s an opportunity to be a pivotal navigator for graduate researchers, ensuring their journey from enrolment to completion is seamless, supported, and successful.
As a Senior Candidature Officer, you will be at the heart of our graduate research community. Using a proactive case management approach, you will provide high-level administrative services that directly impact student outcomes. You’ll be the "go-to" expert, offering sound advice to students and staff while ensuring our operations run with precision and excellence.

We are looking for:
- Expertise: Extensive experience in higher education administration (specifically graduate research and candidature operations).
- Communication: Highly developed verbal and written skills with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes for complex issues.
- Judgment: The ability to exercise independence and initiative while managing sensitive compliance and privacy requirements.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced computer literacy and a knack for data analysis and reporting.
- Education: A relevant degree with experience, or an equivalent combination of extensive specialist expertise.
