The Opportunity

Monash University is committed to increasing university participation of students from communities under-represented in higher education. As part of this mission, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Officer, Uni Prep to support the planning, coordination and delivery of the new Monash University Preparedness Program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective implementation of program activities, events and resources that support students on their path to university.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver programs, activities and events, with strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build effective relationships with schools, students and internal stakeholders, and deliver engaging presentations
  • Proven ability to provide administrative and operational support, including project planning, data collection and reporting, and maintaining accurate systems and records
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement and program development and planning
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues related to increasing participation in higher education of under-represented groups
  • Recent experience and understanding of school communities or other educational environments, preferably within an Australian context
