The Opportunity
As the PASS Project Officer, Student Academic Programs, you will play an important role in delivering initiatives that strengthen student belonging, academic confidence and success across the University. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program and provide high‑level administrative and project support within Access, Inclusion and Success (AIS). You will work closely with students, academic and professional staff to ensure the smooth delivery of timetabling, recruitment, training, data collection and key student events.
This position will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and end-to-end project support across Student Academic Programs, including scoping projects, identifying deliverables, and coordinating key processes that support the delivery of PASS. You will assist in planning and implementing student activities such as study sessions, training, and professional development events, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication across teams. The role will monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes and budgets, using data to inform continuous improvement. You will also develop communication materials, ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements, and support the piloting and evaluation of peer academic initiatives in collaboration with Monash staff.
To be successful in this role you will have strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes. You will be confident engaging and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students and staff, and demonstrate a strong customer service focus. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to interpret data and support continuous improvement of programs and processes.
