The Opportunity

The Senior Insights Specialist is a strategic and analytical role that supports the Executive Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions and the Director of Channels and Markets by providing expert insights into the sales pipeline, conversion potential, market performance, and overall recruitment strategies. This position will play a critical role in guiding decision-making, forecasting, and performance measurement by leveraging advanced analytical techniques and collaborating closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across the University.

As the Senior Insights Specialist, you will lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs), statistical models, and reports that inform strategic initiatives and enhance the recruitment process. You will use a blend of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, statistical modelling, and forecasting to provide actionable insights that support the University's recruitment and admissions goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced business strategy and analytical services to support decision-making, operational improvement, and performance enhancement.
  • Partner with senior leaders to analyse results and provide expert advice on major strategies, initiatives, and decisions.
  • Direct and drive continuous improvement of business practices, operational processes, and service provision within Student Recruitment and Admissions.
  • Conduct research, modelling, forecasting, and benchmarking to support decision-making, business case development, and risk identification.
  • Prepare specialised reports, correspondence, recommendations, and advice on highly complex issues for senior management.

About You

  • Extensive experience in senior-level business analysis, contributing to strategic developments, major change programs, and risk identification.
  • Demonstrated experience in initiating and building strong relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Proven expertise in synthesising large, diverse data sets and applying analytical business tools.
  • Exceptional relationship management and consulting skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to translate complex business challenges into effective solutions.
