The Opportunity
The Department of Podiatry has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join the team and contribute to high-quality teaching, student success and the continued development of the University's podiatry program. The position delivers engaging learning experiences across lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops and clinical education, while contributing to curriculum and assessment design aligned with contemporary practice. Working collaboratively within a collegiate academic environment, the role supports student supervision, unit coordination, continuous improvement and broader faculty activities.
The position provides an opportunity to contribute to a vibrant academic community through scholarly and research activities that strengthen podiatry practice and evidence-based learning. The role supports the development of teaching resources, professional engagement, research supervision and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. With a focus on student-centred learning and continuous improvement, the position contributes to the ongoing growth and reputation of the program.
The position requires a doctoral or master's qualification in podiatry or a related discipline, or equivalent accreditation and standing, together with demonstrated tertiary teaching experience relevant to the podiatry profession. Experience in the administration, prescription and dispensing of podiatry-specific scheduled medicines, curriculum development, scholarly research and publication and the ability to engage and inspire students will also be highly valued.
