The Opportunity
The Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership (CCEL) is seeking an exceptional Senior Operations Manager to partner closely with our Chief Executive Officer in translating strategic vision into operational success. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end business operations, drive financial health, modernise systems and empower a high-performing team to scale our mission.
As Senior Operations Manager, you will serve as a strategic driver and operational anchor for CCEL, balancing high-level strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead operational strategy, organisational planning and standard operating procedures to optimise efficiency, scalability and measurable performance against strategic KPIs. You will take full charge of financial oversight and commercial management - directing annual budgets, forecasting, financial analysis and client agreements to ensure long-term viability and growth.
A critical element of this role involves maintaining rigorous organisational governance and risk management, while ensuring seamless alignment with University policies and regulatory frameworks. You will oversee organisational infrastructure, directing CRM systems, IT platforms, procurement and emerging technologies to streamline service delivery across major events, open enrolment programmes and strategic projects.
To thrive in this environment, you are a seasoned operations executive with a proven track record in financial oversight, digital infrastructure management and process improvement within a university, non-profit or complex organisational setting. You bring strong leadership and people management skills, capable of nurturing a collaborative, high-performing team while managing critical relationships across internal University networks, external partners and senior executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should hold postgraduate qualifications alongside extensive relevant management experience, or possess an equivalent combination of high-level industry experience, education, and training.
