The Opportunity
The Respect Equity Diversity and Inclusion Office is seeking a proactive Strategy and Impact Specialist to lead the development, governance and evaluation of our Respect, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) initiatives. Working autonomously under broad direction, you will champion a university-wide, person-centered approach to equity, diversity, and gender-based violence prevention across the Monash Group.
In this role, you will bridge strategic vision and operational delivery. Key duties include providing expert advice on REDI strategies and regulatory compliance, managing strategic and community-led projects and analysing data to produce high-level reports for executive decision-making. You will also build strong cross-institutional partnerships, drive continuous process improvements and directly supervise the Strategy and Impact Officer.
We are looking for a candidate with postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent extensive experience) and substantial subject-matter expertise in REDI and gender-based violence prevention. You bring a strong track record in evaluating social change programs, robust project management skills and exceptional analytical abilities. An influential communicator, you excel at negotiating with diverse stakeholders across senior leadership, staff, and students to deliver meaningful outcomes.
