Remuneration: $100,155 - $108,106 pa HEW Level 06 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

This is an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity to join a high-performing, customer-focused IT Service Centre team, providing frontline technical support across a dynamic university environment. In this role, you will support a broad range of technologies, including desktop, network, audio visual and telephony services, while delivering responsive, high-quality customer service to staff and students.

Working across multiple university campuses, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the delivery of reliable and innovative IT services. You will also play an active role in identifying and implementing service improvements, collaborating with experienced colleagues to enhance operational processes and the overall customer experience. This secondment offers excellent exposure to a diverse technology environment and is ideal for someone looking to broaden their skills, gain valuable cross-functional experience and make a meaningful contribution to a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-quality IT support across desktop, hardware, software, audio visual, network and telephony environments.

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively and within agreed service levels.

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, exercising sound judgement and initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience identifying and implementing service improvements, including documenting processes and contributing to operational enhancements.

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT service management tools, with a commitment to continuous learning and emerging technologies.
