The Faculty of Law is seeking a Management Accountant for a fixed-term appointment until January 2027. This is an excellent secondment opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to broaden their expertise in a collaborative higher education environment. In this role, you will provide specialist financial services that support the Faculty's strategic objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, reporting, costing and performance monitoring.

Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, you will deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decision making, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure compliance with University policies and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in driving effective financial management practices while contributing to cross functional projects that support the Faculty's operational and strategic priorities.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a degree in business or accounting with current CA or CPA accreditation, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience. You will bring extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting and project costing, together with a strong understanding of accounting standards and legislation.

You will be a highly organised and analytical professional with excellent problem solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to interpret financial data, identify opportunities for improvement and provide high quality customer focused advice will enable you to thrive in a complex financial environment while delivering meaningful outcomes for the Faculty.
