About the role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute in terms of modern slavery and supply chain risk, and responsible procurement across the Monash Group.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Procurement, the Deputy Director, Supply Chain Risk and Governance will provide leadership across the University's diverse and complex supply chains. You will strengthen supply chain transparency, champion ethical and sustainable procurement, and ensure robust risk management that protects and enhances the University's reputation.
In this influential leadership role, you will lead the University’s Group-wide Modern Slavery Program. You will also lead a number of initiatives in relation to Responsible and Social Procurement, and drive the governance, compliance and continuous improvement of procurement risk management frameworks, policies and supplier governance practices.
About you
As a senior member of the Strategic Procurement team, you will bring a wealth of relevant experience in procurement and contract management across high-value and/or high-risk categories within a large, complex organisation. With expertise in procurement governance, modern slavery and ESG risk, you are confident navigating complex regulatory environments and delivering practical, commercially sound solutions
A collaborative and trusted adviser, you combine exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and executive communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. You are motivated by the opportunity to drive meaningful organisational change, strengthen governance and leave a lasting impact through ethical and sustainable procurement leadership.
