The Opportunity
The ERP Finance Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the finance transformation workstream within the University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The role is accountable for defining and delivering the future-state finance operating model, ensuring the ERP solution enables best-practice financial management, governance, reporting and compliance while supporting the University's long-term strategic objectives.
What You'll Be Leading
- Lead end-to-end finance workstream activities across the ERP implementation lifecycle, from design workshops through to go-live and stabilisation
- Act as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and the broader ERP project team, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured and delivered
- Review, validate and sign off on system configuration, data migration and finance process design outputs
- Identify risks and dependencies within the finance workstream and drive resolution in a structured, timely manner
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience leading finance workstreams within a large ERP implementation
- Strong technical understanding of core finance processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting
- Proven ability to engage and influence finance stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership
- Experience working within a structured project methodology (waterfall, agile or hybrid)
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; CA/CPA advantageous
- Prior exposure to complex, multi-entity or public sector finance environments highly regarded
