The Opportunity
Large-scale ERP transformations don't manage themselves - and Monash Finance is looking for a Senior Project Manager who knows exactly what it takes to deliver complex technology programs in a high-stakes environment.
As the senior project representative for the finance stream of work and working within the ERP Program, the Project Manager provides timely reporting of key dates and resource allocation to advise the Finance Lead and relevant stakeholders, and builds strong stakeholder engagement across the organisation. The role champions best practice in project management, maximises the value of the ERP investment, and manages timely delivery of each component of the program allocated to the finance stream of work.
What You'll Be Driving
Sitting within a dedicated transformation team, you'll take end-to-end ownership of ERP project delivery, working across clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders to keep scope, schedule, and budget firmly on track.
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery for ERP workstreams, from planning through to post-implementation review
- Manage interdependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams, escalating risks with clear mitigation strategies
- Facilitate governance forums and provide executive-level reporting to steering committees
- Build and sustain effective relationships with vendors, internal teams, and change leads to support adoption
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale ERP implementations as a senior project lead
- Strong command of structured project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders and navigate complex organisational environments
- Experience working within or alongside public sector or health organisations is highly regarded
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences
- Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent)
