The Opportunity
Join the Faculty of Information Technology as a Student and Academic Services Officer and play an important role in supporting coursework students throughout their university journey, from application through to course completion. As a key first point of contact, you’ll provide expert advice and high-quality customer service across a broad range of student administration matters, helping students navigate processes, policies and faculty services.
Working as part of a collaborative Student and Academic Services team, you’ll contribute to effective administrative processes, data and reporting, project activities and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the Faculty and participate in cross-functional projects that enhance service delivery and the student experience.
About You
You’ll be an organised and customer-focused professional with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. You’ll bring sound judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to resolving enquiries and supporting students and stakeholders.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you’ll be confident working with a diverse range of people and building effective relationships across the Faculty. You’ll be a collaborative team member who can also work independently, with strong computer literacy and experience using business systems such as Microsoft Office.
