The Opportunity
As the Senior Student Recruitment Officer, you will be pivotal in enhancing the profile of the Business School with prospective undergraduate and graduate students, as well as key influencers. You’ll achieve this by building strong relationships with secondary schools and providing essential course information, administrative services, and specialist advice to prospective students at recruitment events.
In this role, you’ll manage relationships with student recruitment agents and contribute to the development of targeted recruitment campaigns for priority markets, equity groups, and regional students. You’ll work closely with other teams to deliver integrated, streamlined services that align with both the Faculty’s and the University’s recruitment strategies.
The position also involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Student Recruitment team, including budget tracking, data analysis, project administration, and event logistics, ensuring smooth operations and informed decision-making.
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent communication skills, able to present information clearly and interact with diverse stakeholders. You will interpret and relay complex course, policy, and admissions details consistently. Strong organisational skills, project coordination, and the ability to meet deadlines are key, along with exercising independence, judgement, and initiative. You'll work both autonomously and as part of a team, fostering a customer-focused and improvement-driven environment.
