The Opportunity
Monash Abroad is seeking an organised and customer-focused International Education Coordinator (New Colombo Plan Programs) to support the delivery of New Colombo Plan supported study opportunities for Monash students. You will advise students on overseas programs, coordinate applications and administration, and support the delivery of New Colombo Plan funded initiatives and programs, including exchange, study abroad and programs at Monash’s overseas locations, in line with funding objectives.
Working closely with students, faculties, overseas campuses and external partners, you will coordinate program logistics, facilitate recruitment and selection, manage grants and financial records, while supporting students before, during and after their overseas experience. You will also contribute to student engagement activities, develop effective administrative processes and help ensure programs are accessible, inclusive and delivered efficiently in line with New Colombo Plan funding requirements.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative and organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to coordinate complex processes, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. With a commitment to excellent customer service, you can provide clear advice, solve problems and ensure students and stakeholders receive responsive and reliable support.
You bring highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgement and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. You are confident using digital systems and applications to streamline processes and maintain accurate records, and ideally have experience living, studying or travelling overseas, with an understanding of the value of international education.
