The Role

ABC content, product and marketing decisions are guided by the factual data and the stories it tells about our audience interests, needs and feedback. 

The Business Intelligence Manager will lead and mentor a highly skilled team of analysts and BI developers and take responsibility for developing and implementing a Visualisation Build System.                             

The Job

  • Develop and implement a Visualisation Build System to support the delivery of impactful visualised self-service data solutions, using modern BI tools. 
  • Partner with the Audience and Marketing Data Engineering team to define data requirements and develop processes which ensure quality, consistency and security. 
  • Consult with the Insights team and key stakeholders across the business to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
  • Actively evolve the development of dashboards and other audience performance reporting tools.

About You

You will have experience in team leadership and a high degree of expertise using BI tools to help to direct business decisions.

You'll also have: 

  • Knowledge of data visualisation best practice (preferably using Microsoft platforms).
  • Significant experience leading a team of analyst's and BI developers to deliver a complex program of work.
  • Collaborative workstyle with an ability to engage technical IT and data teams to define data requirements and create visualisation and self-service outcomes.
  • Significant experience in data modelling, data transformation and query languages (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS or Azure).
