The Role
As Resource and Planning Lead, you will develop and maintain resource plans based on workload demand, considering factors such as role, skill set, equipment availability and project timelines while ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreement and cost optimisation targets. You will also be managing a team that rosters staff, studios, broadcast lines and other production-related needs whilst driving continuous improvement across the department.
You'll prepare and deliver regular reports on resource utilisation and efficiency, implement systems and processes to track resource utilisation and monitor performance and serve as the primary point of contact for resource-related inquiries and requests from departmental stakeholders.
You'll develop initial rosters and long-term shift templates for projected demand and resource requirements and will oversee and support workforce coordinators in accurately creating and maintaining rosters ensuring timely updates and effective communication with line managers and employees.
You will also partner with Workforce Services to leverage their expertise in best practice rostering and efficiency strategies to resolve complex rostering challenges.

About You
With strong analytical skills, you'll have a proven track record in operational rostering, resource planning, and workforce management, with advanced knowledge of scheduling technologies, tools, and systems to optimise workforce deployment.
You possess extensive experience in interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreement requirements to workforce planning, rostering and time and attendance systems, coupled with a strong understanding of employer obligations under the Australian workplace relations system and a highly advanced application and understanding of policies, procedures and practices that support compliance with these obligations.
You'll have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and drive alignment on workforce planning strategies and initiatives.
