The Role
We’re seeking an Audio Producer to craft gripping, high-quality episodes for Season 10 of our award winning, true crime podcast Unravel. You’ll edit, mix, and master audio, shape compelling narratives, and work closely with our investigative journalists and editorial team to deliver stories that captivate listeners.
Under the general direction of the Supervising Producer, Executive Producer and Manager Podcasts, the role will include:
- Working with on-air talent and investigative journalists to create distinctive narrative audio content for the target audience.
- Producing, researching, investigating, planning, fact-checking, scripting and editing narrative audio content to deadlines and brief.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to devise a production schedule and ensure on-time delivery of podcasts.
- Working closely with a range of stakeholders to develop and publish high-quality, distinctive, shareable content on third party platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) that will engage existing and reach new audiences, exercising sound editorial and creative responsibility.

About You
You'll bring strong story telling instincts, experience in narrative audio script writing and long-form story construction skills.
You will also bring:
- An understanding of the unique editorial and legal sensitivities of investigative journalism.
- Demonstrated experience in constructing long-form popular investigative/narrative podcasts.
- Experience in scripting plot and scene-driven narrative audio.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with image and video editors, delivering the required images, video and audio to assist in the production of high-quality social media content.
