Project Manager

DM Roads has been awarded the new Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC) by the Department of Transport. We will deliver routine maintenance, planned maintenance, defect and hazard rectification and emergency response services to more than 8,500 lane kilometres of road in Victoria’s Hume region, stretching from Mitchell Shire on the edge of metropolitan Melbourne to the north-east corner of the State.    

We are seeking a driven Project Manager to join our team on this new and exciting contract. Based in Victoria’s breathtaking High Country, you will be instrumental in client relationship development, financial management and contractual management coupled with a strong focus on safety. 

This role is ideally suited to candidates with industry exposure across, Civil Road Maintenance, Construction, Infrastructure or Bulk Earthworks. 

What you’ll bring 

You will possess Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related Civil Roads discipline together with; 

• Demonstrated senior experience in the delivery of maintenance, asphalt or civil construction projects in a similar role 
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment 
• Substantial exposure to resource planning and business/project management 
• Financial literacy and business acumen with demonstrated capability in contract management and the preparation of project budgets 
• You will be an active team leader in supporting the preparation of tenders and the negotiations of contracts 
• A natural relationship builder who collaborates to build and sustain enduring relationships based on trust and integrity
