Operator Mining – Charge Up
We currently have a fantastic career opportunity available for a Charge Up Operator to join our Mining team at Dugald River Mine.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, you will ensure the safe prepping and charging practices for stope production.
This role is based on an 8/7, 7/6 (Days & Nights) roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa and FIFO from Townsville.
Qualifications, skills & Experience
- A current C Class Licence
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
- Must have or be able to obtain Explosives Security Clearance.
- Competency of RIIBLA205E - Store, handle and transport explosives.
- Competency of RIIBLA304E - Conduct underground production shot firing.
- Competency of RIIBLA305E - Conduct secondary blasting.
- Competency of RIIBLA303E - Conduct underground development shot firing.
- Competency of Working at Heights
- Previous experience of operating Normet Charmec charge rig or similar equipment are desirable.
- General understanding of Underground Mining Environment and long hole stope production.
