Shareholder Communication & China Relations Lead

The PMO creates significant value to MMG by assisting the PMO Manager to maintain sound relations/ communication between the management team/ PM office and concerned stakeholders, assisting the PMO Manager to compile and prepare weekly/monthly project management reports for the leadership team based on practical demands, organizing relevant conferences and scheduling arrangement as well as assist to establish a well-functioned information sharing scheme.

We are pleased to advise that we seek a Shareholder Communication & China Relations Lead.  Based in Khoemacau Mine / Gaborone Office / Beijing and reporting to PMO Manager and Main Shareholder Liaison, the purpose of this job is to serving as the function of shareholder and China relations liaison as well as communication for the management team.

The key focus and main activities are:

Accountability for Maintaining Shareholder and China Relations, News Publicity
Accountability for Supporting the Project Management and Control, and Assistance to Prepare the Management Reports and Monthly Project Progress Reports
Accountability for Assisting to Coordinate Internal & External Resources and Information Sharing
Accountability for Providing Administrative Support to the Leadership Team

To be considered, candidates must have

• Excellent communication in written and verbal form both in Chinese and English.
• Strong organizational, coordinating, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to details and focus on continuous improvement.

Key to success in this role is the ability to 
• Full comprehension of MMG’s project management and process control.
• Knowledge of MMG Standards, Procedures, Work Quality Requirements and other related documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in cross-cultural communication, and knowledge of relevant legislation.
