*Role Purpose
Support the SAP Program to lead SAP S/4 HANA upgrade across the business stream. This role is ideal for someone who understand how mining operate, can build trust with stakeholders and drive outcomes that align with business priorities.
*Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across the business stream of a large transformation program.
- Coordinate milestones, dependencies and resources across cross-functional teams and site representative.
- Partner with SAP Service team, IT SMEs, and Implementation partner to align priorities and ensure business readiness.
- Track progress, manage risks, and provide clear reporting to BPEs, BPOs and SAP Program Manager.
- Manage testing, training, and change management activities in business side.
- Drive effective communication, expectation management, and engagement strategies across internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project teams to build capability and foster high performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrate behaviours that are aligned with the MMG Values and Code of Conduct at all times.
*Required Capabilities
Skills
- Strong experience delivering business-side projects in mining industry.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in evolving environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models and tools like Jira.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how mining operates beyond technology.
- Analytical mindset for scenario planning and risk mitigation.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation accuracy.
- Solid understanding of business operations, especially in planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of business processes (e.g., procurement, supply chain)
- Ability to bridge the IT team and business team.
- Experience in stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, and change management.
Experience
Required:
- 10+ years in project management
- 5+ years’ experience in mining industry
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Mining Industry project management experience
Education
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or minerals processing,
- Certification in project management (e.g., SAP Activate, ASAP, Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2 Agile, or equivalent).
