Your Impact

 

As the Sales Operations Manager North, you’ll partner with state leads and sales teams—both regionally and centrally—to shape and support the 1 Year Plan and state priorities. You'll play a key role in aligning national and state game plans, providing insights and feedback to drive performance across all AFH channels. With a focus on process, governance, tools, and reporting, you’ll enable seamless execution in field, helping sales teams deliver outstanding commercial outcomes.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be based out of NSW or QLD

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Understand the channel, brands and customers and provide input into the 1YP Priorities for the region/state to deliver the channel objectives
  • Educate the channel Trade Marketing, Category & Sales Teams on the market differences and support in target setting e.g. must stock lines (MSL’s) and outlet targets
  • Understand the annual, monthly commercial plan and provide feedback through commercial rhythms
  • Support during state monthly planning (i.e., state LT briefings), to help understand content at a region/state level to optimise the plan
  • Attend state planning forums to project support and clarification where necessary
  • Understand and manage the dissemination of activation and execution priorities for the state/channel (i.e. sales briefings), by partnering with content owners incl Trade Marketing to ensure “readiness” to sell/execute for the field team
  • Understand the AFH gameplan/1YP/state priorities and ensure the appropriate level of planning, target setting, and communication occurs in the state
  • Assist in clarification and communication of Cycle Briefing priorities
  • Develop regular execution and activation reporting insights and actions to understand performance in state across customer/channels
  • Review execution and activation dashboards, develop insights and influence outcomes with the regional leadership team
  • Partner with the SSM’s, SRSM’s, Senior Sales Ops Manager and other key stakeholders centrally to manage/implement/govern/maintain/continuously improve the tools, systems, processes and reporting
  • Partner with SSM’s & SRSM’s to build a high-performing team & culture

 

 

About you

 

  • Solid business experience with customer, sales and marketing experience
  • People leadership experience preferred
  • Experience within Away from Home (On the Go) highly advantageous
  • Proactive and solution orientated with the ability to be flexible, adaptable and work under pressure
  • Market and product knowledge – the necessary experience and skills to understand how to assist customer and category growth across significant and varied markets
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively and problem solve
  • Ability to demonstrate delivery, clear action and follow through
