An exciting 6-month opportunity has become available for an experienced sales leader to join our Independent National Accounts team as a National Business Manager - IBA supporting our multi-beverage portfolio across both Beer and RTDs & Spirits.

 

The role location is flexible and can be based out of Melbourne or Sydney

 

Reporting to the Head of Sales IBA & Independent Wholesalers and leading a team of 4 people, this high-profile position will lead the development and implementation of effective strategies. You will play a key role in the achievement of our ambitious growth targets and success in this role will position you for future career development opportunities within our business.

 

Results focused, you will build strong professional business relationships with key stakeholders to sell new concepts to drive brand and category growth.

 

Other key responsibilities will include:

 

 

  • Construct and implement highly commercial and strategic business plans in order to achieve key sales targets.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and their key internal stakeholders to drive collaboration & alignment between our businesses.
  • Directly responsible for analysing sales data and working closely with internal stakeholders to implement strategies that ensure the company continues its growth & penetration of the market.
  • Strong people management skills to engage and drive team culture and influence key stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as category and innovation to identify new opportunities, drive category growth.
  • Provide timely, accurate and pro-active monthly reporting of sales activities and events.
  • Develop and participate in regular business reviews, joint business planning and innovation sessions with key customers.

 

About you

 

Success in this role will come from extensive Account Management and leadership experience. You will have exceptional financial / commercial acumen which will be demonstrated through your customer management success. You bring:

 

 

 

  • Strong analytics, demand planning and forecasting skills but also a very hands-on approach to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated success in a strategic national sales role within the FMCG environment, beverage and/or alcohol experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen with prior P&L experience across a business unit/area.
  • Strong track record in leading and coaching teams and influencing others to deliver required results.
  • Commercial acumen to effectively manage the challenges of sales volume, margin and market share growth.
  • An impeccable ability to build, grow and leverage relationships both internally.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for success with excellent communication skills.
