Your Impact

 

The National Account Executive (NAE) is a dedicated commercial role responsible for supporting the profit and revenue targets for the Dan Murphy’s account. This role plays a key part in managing critical functions such as demand forecasting, trade spend administration, facilitating range reviews and new line acceptances, monitoring competitor performance, and managing direct supply chain communication with the customer.

 

We are currently hiring for two roles:

 

  • 1x Permanent role – Responsible for the RCS portfolio.
  • 1x 12-Month Fixed Term Contract – Responsible for the Beer portfolio.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Engage and influence with the customer to align targets and customer promotional programs for mutual growth
  • Prioritize & administer promotional / DMI investment across total National Accounts to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Support the implementation the joint business planning cycle with National Accounts banners
  • Support the delivery & execution of account strategy and individual customer objectives
  • Monitor business performance and return on investment including shared post-evaluation of investment activities as a platform for continuous learning and improvement
  • Ensure clear priorities established through Promax and by managing internal resources
  • Build constructive long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements
  • Embed high performance standards and a culture of shared learning across the team

 

 

About you:

 

  • Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management dealing with major accounts
  • Experience in negotiating and closing commercial contracts
  • Ability to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approach
  • Strategic account planning; able to apply market/ industry knowledge and insights to evaluate and develop Asahi and customer opportunities
  • Deep knowledge of category management principles, tools and best-in-class practice
  • Stakeholder engagement and management at all levels within customer and internally
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – including developing and delivering high-quality, articulate formal and informal presentations
