Your Impact

To ensure that production requirements and KPIs are met by maintaining safe and reliable assets. The role is responsible for delivering timely and professional maintenance support, reducing overall production costs through excellent engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialised and high-order maintenance work, including breakdowns and scheduled activities, ensuring equipment is reliable and safe.
• Act as subject matter expert with strong diagnostic skills and support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies.
• Provide technical coaching to operators and artisans to build team capability.
• Ensure packaging machines are set up and functioning to standard.
• Maintain accurate records using SAP and assist with budget control, tracking, and achieving KPIs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing coordinators, planners, and operators to ensure smooth operations, and assist with risk assessments and permits.

About You

You are a hands-on maintenance professional with a strong mechanical mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. You work well with others and are driven by safety, performance, and high standards.

• Mechanical or electrical trade qualification (mechanical preferred)
• Experience in a maintenance environment, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient SAP user with solid Microsoft Office application knowledge
• Proven experience in reliability management and preventative maintenance
