Your Impact

 

Are you a skilled and ambitious Electrical Specialist with a passion for working in the Brewing Department of our Yatala site. As an Electrical Specialist you will work closely with the Brewing team to support in scheduled maintenance activities, collaborating to problem-solve equipment or process related issues, providing specialist technical support and ultimately deliver on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life through the production of our iconic beverages.

Please note: This position is a permanent, full-time position. You will need to be available for a roster consisting of 9.5 hour shifts, 3 x weekdays per week, plus weekends every other week.

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Fulfil all duties & responsibilities expected of a TDP4 employee.
  • Specialized technical resource assigned ownership of all electrical & instrumentation systems within brewing.
  • Increase overall availability and reliability of equipment.
  • Develop technician and operator training through coaching and mentoring.
  • Develop and continually improve maintenance plans, optimizing schedules, development of Work Instructions/SOP’s.
  • Navigate purchasing and planning processes in SAP
  • Collaborate across teams, including manufacturing engineers, tradespeople, and planners, to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to a safe and sustainable workplace by adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Trade qualification (Electrical & Instrumentation)
  • Allan Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC experience 
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to develop training documentation as required
  • Able to coach and support the development of others
  • A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others 
  • Excellent communication and a positive can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of Asahi Way strategies and initiatives 
  • General understanding of brewing operations & processes
  • Computer literacy – including the use of a CMMS
