We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor, based in our Albury, NSW facility.  Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Coordinator, you will lead a production team to ensure production, quality and safety standards are met. This is an imperative role to align the production team with broader strategic goals, and the vision of Asahi Beverages, through a collaborative and engaging approach to leadership.

Requires availability for a 24/7 rotating Day & Night shift roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of experienced operators by setting performance and development plans
• Responsibility for shift operations during production cycles
• Investigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses
• Accountable for the quality of product/process within assigned work areas and acts appropriately to rectify issues as identified
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of preventative maintenance plans
• Manage direct and indirect labour and raw material costs for the lines
• Control raw material inventory and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on preforms

About You

• Strong experience in a production role within FMCG
• Degree or Trade qualifications, with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles
• Motivation to step up as a leader, and/or prior experience in a leadership role
• Mentorship and coaching skills to support the management and ongoing development of your team
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to influence others
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
