Your Impact

Due to the retirement of a valued team member, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Trade Mechanical Employee to join a shift team at our Abbotsford site, working in B1.  In joining this team, you'd be part of a supportive crew working with other fitters, electricians and operators to keep our equipment running smoothly. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and safely
• Work closely with other team members to minimise downtime
• Identify and help fix recurring issues
• Suggest improvements to how we work
• Keep safety front of mind at all times – wear PPE, follow procedures, and speak up if something isn’t right

About You

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in a busy manufacturing or industrial setting
• A strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Ability to stay organised and work independently when needed
• Comfortable using basic computer systems 
• A good problem-solving approach
• Clear communication skills
